Let’s Do This!

First of all, when you make eating healthy and working out a lifestyle there really is no such thing as “getting off track.” These 4 steps can help with that.

Every treat meal, missed workout, lazy day, etc. is all just part of a balanced lifestyle. When I have a relaxing day, vacation, or sick day I use this Easy 4 Step Plan to get back into my routine. As a result, it works every time!

So here are the 4 steps I take to get back in the swing of things!

STEP 1: MAKE A SIMPLE TO-DO LIST

Start the  day with 3 simple things you can quickly check off your list. This build momentum for that satisfying “accomplished” feeling. This should be things like make your bed, get ready for the day, and do a 5 min stretch, or whatever helps you quickly get started for the day.

By building this momentum you will feel energized to keep going down that to-do list and knock out the bigger tasks. Like a healthy meal or a workout.

STEP 2: INCREASE YOUR LIQUID INTAKE (LEMON WATER)

Water, water, water I can’t express this enough. It helps reduce bloat, reduce brain fog from unhealthy eating, helps reduce inflammation, and so much more.

STEP 3: UTILIZE THE CARBS YOU ATE… LIFT!

It’s ok, there are times we all over eat carbs and desserts, and holidays are usually the main culprit. SO instead of feeling guilty, go lift some weight! As a result this will help you burn through that extra energy.

STEP 4: EAT A HEALTHY MEAL

To get back to eating healthy just start with 3 meals. Maybe a healthy breakfast (smoothies are usually my go to), a healthy snack like a hard boiled egg and a piece of fruit, and a big ole salad for lunch. Now you’re on your way to getting back on track!
